I am Abbas Jamie, an engineer, futurist, and nomad currently residing on the tropical island of Lombok within the Indonesian archipelago. I was a senior executive and professional engineer with more than 20 years of experience building companies and advising leadership in large organizations.

Having served as a senior executive in numerous large multinational engineering firms, I was also a strategic advisor to senior leadership in government, academia, and industry.

In 2021, I suffered a near-death experience due to a heart attack,
this was my falling upward moment.

Twelve months later, I boarded a plane with one bag containing all my possessions, to relocate to an island I had never previously visited. My journey of reconnection had begun.

My educational background encompasses qualifications in Engineering, Business, and Futures Studies.

(My family and I are living a simple life in Lombok, Indonesia)
